{Let’s Organize: 2012} Refrigerator: Recap & Link Party

5 Feb

Today, we celebrate: because Week #4 of  Let’s Organize: 2012 is finally over! AND – by now, your kitchen should be totally organized, and usable. That’s one room of your home that’s COMPLETELY done. Hooray!

Because my refrigerator is virtually empty {and there’s not much to organize, or to show you all}, I decided to highlight a fellow blogger’s awesome organizing project. Jenn @ Clean & Scentsible recently organized her refrigerator and freezer and left her readers with great tips. Click here to check out the full post on her blog.

Jenn used some adorable vinyl decals to label her drawers:

Here are some of the products I fell in love with this week while in organization-mode. Some of them, I used in my kitchen. Others didn’t work for my space, but I’m seriously in love with them. Maybe they’ll work for yours.

1. The OXO Good Grips POP Container Set from Amazon – {yes, I shared these with my pantry post, too! they are that awesome.} these are terrific quality and keep your food super fresh. Amazon sells the containers in 5 and 10 piece sets, but I was able to find mine for almost 50% off at TJ Maxx.

2. Prepara Herb Savor Pods from Amazon – keep your herbs fresher {and organized} for longer.

3. The Tellfresh Lunch Kit from the Container Store – with a convenient spot for your fork, so you’ll never lose it! These are also great for splitting up leftovers into healthy portions: grab on from the fridge on your way to work.

4. The Boon Snack Ball Container from Amazon – cute and handy! Store ready-to-go snacks in these little balls {in a variety of colors}.

5. Custom Kitchen Label Decals from the Vinyl Mill on Etsy – request your own ready to use labels for your fridge – dairy, meat, fruit, vegetables, and more. These peel on and off your fridge drawers in a snap.

6. The Rubbermaid Beverage Carafe from Target – easy drink storage! Plus: the clear bottles make it easy to know what’s-what.
